This past Saturday was the Country Music Marathon in Nashville. Bill decided to run in it as he has been training for (and participating in) triathlons lately and running a 1/2 marathon fit in perfectly with his program. To tell you the truth, he goes out on a pretty regular basis to run 15 miles, so the kids and I knew this would be a cinch for him. He ran it like a superstar! His time was 1:55:09.
The picture above was from the halfway point--Belmont Boulevard. Bill's parents, Anna, William, Nala and I went to cheer him on and show our support. The weather was perfect for runners, except maybe the humidity. The weather forecasters had predicted bad weather, but nothing more than a few early evening showers.
